Dr. Greg Frokjer has several years of experience in the medical sector. He has special expertise in the field of facial trauma, facial reconstruction and temporal mandibular joint surgery. He is a member of various professional organizations like American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow- American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has done his college education from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. He earned great honors for his performances like Freshman Honors, Sophomore Silver “R” and NAIA Athletic-Scholastic All American. He has completed his dental education from the University of Iowa – Doctor of Dental Surgery. There, honors include Most Outstanding Graduate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Collegiate Committee on Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Captain All-University Championship Volleyball Team.
At his successful practice, Dr. Greg Frokjer has treated over 80,000 patients. He examined 60-70 patients and performed 15-20 surgeries on a daily basis. He has done more than 2,000 major hospital cases and has also administered over 50,000 general or IV anesthetics. His honors and accolades include Presidents Club – University of North Dakota; President – North Dakota Northeast District Dental Society; Chairman – North Dakota Council on Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Clinic Instructor at the University of North Dakota, College of Medicine. Dr. Greg Frokjer has written several publications such as TMJ Arthroplasty - An Outpatient Procedure, Soft Tissue Mass of Posterior Pharyngeal Wall and A Simplified Technique of Rigid Fixation Following Sagittal Split Osteotomy and Postanesthetic TMJ Dysfunction.
Dr. Greg Frokjer follows his personal interests passionately. He is a commercial pilot and a seasoned open water ocean free diver. He personally operates an excavation business (Frokjer Excavating and Construction) and has a Class A CDL with a perfect driving record. He has personally built a log cabin in the remote bush of Northern Manitoba and an eight sided hurricane resistant house in the Bahamas. He does remote horseback pack trips in the western states of Montana, Colorado, Idaho. |
