Dr. Greg Frokjer is a board certified medical professional with years of experience under his belt. He had a large and successful practice. He has treated over 80,000 patients in his career. He was trained at a Level I Trauma Center and specialized in Facial Trauma, Facial Reconstruction, and Temporal Mandibular Joint Surgery. In a routine day, he examined 60-70 patients and performed 15-20 surgeries. He has done over 2000 major hospital cases in his career and has administered over 50,000 general or IV anesthetics. He is associated with several professional organizations such as American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow-American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
A respected medical professional, Dr. Greg Frokjer completed his college education from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls with Major in Chemistry and Physics and Minor in Mathematics. His honors included Freshman Honors, Sophomore Silver “R” NAIA Athletic-Scholastic All American. His dental education includes Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa. He has received several honors such as Most Outstanding Graduate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Collegiate Committee on Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Captain All-University Championship Volleyball Team. His post doctoral training covers General Practice Residency – University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Internship Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Carle Foundation Hospitals and Clinics, Senior Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Carle Foundation Hospitals and Clinics and Chief Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery- Carle Foundation Hospitals and Clinic. He is the co-author of several publications such as TMJ Arthroplasty - An Outpatient Procedure, Soft Tissue Mass of Posterior Pharyngeal Wall and A Simplified Technique of Rigid Fixation Following Sagittal Split Osteotomy and Postanesthetic TMJ Dysfunction.
Dr. Greg Frokjer is a commercial pilot and an experienced open water ocean free diver. He owns and operates an excavation business (Frokjer Excavating and Construction) and has a Class A CDL with a perfect driving record. He has operated heavy equipment for over 35 years and has 25 years of experience in gold prospecting and mining. Dr. Frokjer has personally built a log cabin in the remote bush of Northern Manitoba and an eight-sided hurricane resistant house in the Bahamas. He does remote horseback pack trips in the western states of Montana, Colorado, and Idaho. |
